PARENTS are invited to take their children to a series of free workshops at Pets at Home in Victoria Road, South Ruislip, this autumn (October 16-27) on how to care for pets responsibly.
Advice will include preparing small animals for hibernation, wearing reflective clothing when walking the dog, and keeping outdoor pets well cared for. Children will also get the chance to hold some pets in-store.
The workshops will run as part of the store’s My Pet Pals Activity Club by staff who are pet owners themselves.
Olivia-Lee McAlpine, store manager at SouthRuislip, said: “Even if your child doesn’t have a pet, they can still learn and inter-act with them for free.”
