TOY maker Playmobil has teamed up with intu Uxbridge to create this year’s Christmas grotto at the shopping centre.

Children will receive a Playmobil gift and can even win an entire Playmobil range of their choice by posting a letter to Father Christmas using intu’s Playmobil post box.

The grotto is one of six being launched this month in partnership with Playmobil at intu centres up and down the country.

Santa’s Grotto, part of the intu Uxbridge Christmas Experience will be open from 10am-6pm on Saturdays and Mondays, and 11am-5pm on Sundays.

From Saturday, December 16, Santa will be at his Gingerbread House every day from 10am-6pm, until Christmas Eve, when the Experience closes at 3pm.

The intu Uxbridge Christmas Experience opens this Saturday, November 25, featuring a number of zones.

Customers can pick up a Christmas Adventurer Passport from either customer services or the Christmas marquee located outside in the piazza.

Children can paste stickers into their passports in the Christmas Tree Zone, the Snow Zone and the Christmas Workshop Zone, before heading through Elf Passport Control to meet Santa and receive their Playmobil gift.

Passports are £5 per child, with every youngster over two receiving their own passport and an official Playmobil gift. Under 2s can receive a passport and gift for just £1.

All proceeds from the Christmas Experience are donated to intu Uxbridge’s charity partners, CRY and the Rainbow Trust.
