DEVELOPER Annington Homes is already meeting a requirement, due to become law in 2019, that all new houses in EU countries must have an electric vehicle charging point.
At Southside Close, off Honeycroft Hill in Uxbridge, it is providing two charging points for the eight homes on the private development.
There is an increasing demand for electric cars, which are cheaper to insure, tax and run, as well as being better for our health and the environment.

There has been a steady increase in EV charging points and it is predicted there will be more points than petrol stations by 2020.
Southside Close is a gated, private development with landscaped gardens and off-road parking.
Another feature is a pioneering intelligent living system, which allows home buyers to automatically control all settings in the home, from heating to lighting and security. Prices start from £595,000.
