PLANS for 377 new homes plus a shop, cafe and affordable work space on the former Master Brewer site at Hillingdon Circus have been submitted.
Despite a prominent location and excellent transport links – next to Hillingdon station and the A40 – the site has been derelict since the hotel was demolished more than a decade ago.
Central themes of the Meyer Homes project are the street and green corridor.
A street with homes, flexible workspace and shops forms a continuation of the existing shopping parade.

It is connected to the adjacent open land, potentially creating a small public park.
Buildings and landscape have been laid out to mitigate traffic and air noise.
Roy Collado, Partner at architects ColladoCollins, said: “Accessibility to the surrounding area was key, with walkways and links from the homes to the public open space creating a community hub.”
A decision is expected from Hillingdon Council early next year.
