A COALITION of charities has launched a new website which shows what your local area would look like if the horrific events in Aleppo, Syria, were re-enacted there.
For instance, if the Uxbridge and South Ruislip constituency (pop: 109,000) was Aleppo, only 13,139 people would be left living there, just 693 children would still be in school and a devastating 1,642 people would have died.
The website can be found on https://www.lastmeninaleppocampaign.com/postcode/gb
By entering your postcode, you can see how you would have been affected. You are encouraged to tweet your MP, encouraging him or her to take action.

In the case of Uxbridge, the charities have also sent a piece of rubble from Aleppo to MP Boris Johnson.
Once part of a building in Aleppo, it has crumbled and collapsed as tanks and barrel and sniper fire were unleashed.
It has come from Syria with the message: ‘Never again. Never again will we allow the carnage of Aleppo to happen’.
The campaign is inspired by Last Men In Aleppo, a film about the Syrian search-and-rescue heroes, called the White Helmets.
