HIP Hop dance stars Boy Blue Entertainment, UMA and Definitive are among the big names appearing at a benefit night to raise money for Hillingdon Manor School in Harlington Road.

Funds raised will help send the school's street dance group, Autism with Attitude, a group of 12-15 young people with autism, to the United Dance Organisations European Championships in Germany in May.

Autism with Attitude have made history by being the first special needs dance team to qualify for the Euros and will be ambassadors for autism, showing what young people with disabilities can achieve.

Dance teacher Jonathan Baron said, "All the artists I have spoken to are really proud of Autism with Attitude and are keen to show their support by giving their time and energy to make the fund-raiser a success.”

Some of the students have never been abroad before, but they are no stranger to the world of dance performance.  They have worked hard to build both their physical abilities and their performance skills.

The benefit night is at the Broadway Theatre, Barking IG11 7LS on January 20 at 7pm. Tickets are £13 ( £9 concessions) and can be booked online at https://www.thebroadwaybarking.com/sales/genres/community/autism-with-attitude-fundraise
