NATIONAL Siblings Day on Tuesday was a day for celebrating sibling relationships, and chihuahua sisters Bev and Beryl from Dogs Trust West London Rehoming Centre in Harefield ahope they will soon be able to celebrate joining a new human family.

They came to the centre just before Christmas and are currently in foster care as they found kennel life difficult. Aged three, they have had a tough start to life and will need patient owners who can work to relax their nerves and help them settle.

Rehoming Centre manager Richard Moore said: “Bev and Beryl will make wonderful additions to their new family home. They love their toys and treats, and they’re curious girls who soon become very fond and affectionate towards new people once they’ve met them a few times.

“That is why we are recommending that potential new owners meet the pair more than once, to gain their trust and begin to build a relationship. The twosome will also then have a chance to show off their cheeky personalities as they become more comfortable with you.”

They will need to be the only dogs in the home and have access to a garden – and they are able to live with children over 12.

If you are interested in adopting them, contact the centre on 0300 303 0292.
