A GOLF day in aid of a charity at Mount Vernon Hospital, Northwood, which helps people affected by cancer and other serious conditions, is taking place in June.
The event is organised by Paul Strickland Scanner Centre, an independent medical charity that provides life-changing CT, MRI and PET/CT scans to diagnose and monitor mainly cancer but also other serious conditions.
Money raised through the golf day will be used to make sure patients can benefit from leading-edge scanning equipment and furthers medical research into cancer and other conditions.
