Shop fire spreads to flats

Comments (0)SEVENTEEN people were rescued from a block of flats after a blaze at a shop in Eastcote.
Around 20 firefighters were called to tackle to fire in Field End Road at 5.25am yesterday morning.
Firefighters with breathing apparatus rescued the residents from the three-storey block above the shop.
Paramedics treated three people on the scene for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
