A MEMBER of the public will be demanding answers from HIllingdon Council as to why an area of Northwood has been allowed to become "rat infested".

At the meeting of the full council tonight, the question will be asked to Councillor Sandra Jenkins, cabinet member for environment.

The concerns are about rubbish being dumped on the road in Joel Street, Northwood Hills outside near the railway bridge.

Part of the question reads - It is extremely unsightly in the centre of our community commercial area, very unhygienic and because of the passage of time has now become rat infested.

Have you seen the rubbish being dumped in that area? Do you think it needs cleaning up? Leave your comments below.
