Paying for Labour mistakes

John Randall MP.

11:17am Thursday 5th June 2008

It seems as if everyone is talking about the rising price of fuel in recent weeks. With petrol prices now over £1.15 per litre, and diesel even higher, the cost of filling up the family car has rocketed.

We must fight on

John McDonnell: "The council is cutting back on library services and undermining one of the most successful public services in our community."

This month I am using my column to congratulate and thank all those who attended and helped organise the demonstration against the expansion of Heathrow Airport on Saturday. It was a fantastic turnout that demonstrated the strength of feeling against Heathrow expansion.

Local voices must be paramount

Nick Hurd: Clampers charge too much.

10:20am Thursday 10th April 2008

Consultation must be questioned

John McDonnell: "The council is cutting back on library services and undermining one of the most successful public services in our community."

10:18am Thursday 10th April 2008

Last week in Parliament I tabled an Early Day Motion calling for an independent, public inquiry into the Government's consultation on the proposal for a third runway and sixth terminal at Heathrow.

Protecting heart of the community

Nick Hurd: Clampers charge too much.

10:15am Thursday 10th April 2008

Since being elected in 2005 there have been many issues that have caused my post bag to swell but the response to the post office consultation, which aims to close High Street, Northwood and Ickenham Road, Ruislip branches has been tremendous.

Pressure must be maintained

Mr Randall: "I believe this is emotional blackmail of the worst kind."

10:11am Thursday 6th March 2008

THERE was a very vocal and overwhelming message sent from the anti-Heathrow expansion rally in Central Hall, Westminster, last week.
