Uxbridge College is gearing up for its 50th year of success by grabbing the No 1 spot in London for both 16-18 year olds and students age 19 and above.
Uxbridge College is ranked out of a total of 30 London colleges in the tables, which cover success rates in classroom-based qualifications including in science, engineering, computing, business and the creative arts.
Laraine Smith OBE, Principal of Uxbridge College, said: “We are really excited to find ourselves top of these London rankings as we look forward to a year of celebrations for our Golden Anniversary.
“With our 50th year of success on the agenda, it is certainly fitting that we are No 1 in London for these two very important student groups.”
The College in West London, which celebrates its golden anniversary in the next academic year, hit the top spot with an 84.1% success rate for 16-18 year olds and 90.3% for students age 19 and above. The figures, published this month, relate to the academic year 2013-14.
