Heathrow expansion decision delayed

A DECISION on whether expansion at Heathrow Airport will go ahead has been delayed, the Government has announced.
Transport Secretary Ruth Kelly was expected to announce her decision over the third runway and sixth terminal in August.
However today she said due to the high number of responses received during the consultation process, her decision has been delayed.
Ms Kelly said government officials are still analysing some 70,000 responses and that she will not be able to give an answer until the end of the year.
