Third runway is 'environmental catastrophe''

LIBERAL Democrats in Hillingdon have called a planned third runway a 'personal disaster' for residents.
A statement released by counciilor Mike Cox said: "Building a third runway at Heathrow will be a personal disaster for those evicted from their homes and an environmental catastrophe for the residents of Hillingdon and many parts of West London.
"A third runway at Heathrow is environmentally unsustainable. The government has decided to escalate the environmental disasters of the past for our children to endure in the future."
