2M joins forces with other councils
A GROUP opposed to expansion at Heathrow is forging an alliance with a similar organisation, campaigning against an extra runway at Stansted Airport.
The 2M group, of which Hillingdon Council is a member, has agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding with the CO2 group, an alliance of councils in Essex and Hertfordshire that oppose expansion at Stansted.
The agreement is intended to express both groups' dissatisfaction with government policy on aviation.
