Watford captain Troy Deeney's strike at West Ham United has been nominated in the Premier League's goal of the month award for September.

The Hornets striker hit a superb effort from the left edge of the area past Adrian to make it 2-2 and help the visitors produced a memorable comeback win.

Deeney's goal is up against Adam Lallana (Liverpool v Leicester), Callum Wilson (Bournemouth v WBA), Steven Defour (Burnley v Hull), Heung Min Son (Stoke v Spurs), Jordan Henderson (Chelsea v Liverpool), Granit Xhaka (Arsenal v Hull) and Demarai Gray (Man Utd v Leicester).
