Injured Watford striker Isaac Success may get the chance to make his international debut during the next round of fixtures after missing out this week.

The Super Eagles were without the 20-year-old, who would have been due to make his debut, after he was ruled out of their World Cup qualfier with Zambia on Sunday through injury.

There had been reports of a disagreement between Success and the Nigerian authorities over whether the dead leg he suffered in Watford's 2-2 draw with Bournemouth had been fabricated - but an official told the Watford Observer on Monday there was no issue with the player.

And now head coach Gernot Rohr has suggested the same, after announcing Success, along with fellow players Victor Moses and Leon Balogun, as well as Odion Ighalo who was excused to visit his father's grave, would be in contention for their next game against Algeria in November.

He said: "The three injured players and the one that had a family issue and had to be excused will all be back.

"We shall also look at other players who play regularly in their clubs who may join the team."
