Watford boss Walter Mazzarri admits he has been impressed by the work ethic of Roberto Pereyra since his move from Juventus.
The 25-year-old attacker is renowned for his ability on the ball but head coach Mazzarri insists he is one of the top players at the club in terms of distance covered in games.
Head coach Mazzarri said: “There were games where we’ve seen what fans love to see from him like great technical skills.
"Against Burnley and the last game the whole team performed less well than the other games so eventually even Pereyra’s skills you notice them much less."
Mazzarri continued: "But I saw something different from him which is great sacrifice. He ran for the whole team and that is something very positive that I take from this game.
"If you see our statistics the players that run the most start with Pereyra and Valon Behrami.
"To think about a player such as Pereyra who has great technical skills and still runs all over the pitch tells you he wants to win and he is fighting as much as he can for the three points."
