Walter Mazzarri has confirmed Costel Pantilimon will start in goal tomorrow and Brice Dja Djédjé could make his long-awaited Watford debut from the bench against Burton Albion.

The Hornets have not been able to call on the Ivory Coast international defender since his arrival last summer due to a long-term foot injury.

But Djédjé, who is not in the Premier League squad, is set to start on the bench for this weekend's FA Cup third round tie.

Head coach Mazzarri said: “I’m happy we will most probably also have Djedje on the bench who hasn’t been training a lot with us.

"He’s just started back for the last few weeks and we’re happy to have him back even though it will be very limited the time we will have available."

There will be a change in goal with Pantilimon starting his second match of the campaign because Heurelho Gomes is suffering from a fever.

Jose Holebas is also a major doubt with a similar problem but midfielder Ben Watson should be available from the bench.

Mazzarri said: "Pantilimon would have played in the starting XI anyway but I would have liked Gomes on the bench.

"In this moment I want all the players that are ready all together to show they can play in the best possible way."
