On-loan winger Steven Berghuis netted as Feyenoord beat Mainz 2-0 in a mid-season friendly on Saturday.
The 25-year-old has been in fine form for the Dutch side since joining on loan in the summer, and added another goal to his tally for the club in Germany - albeit not in a competitive game.
His goal came in peculiar circumstances when Feyenoord were awarded an indirect free-kick inside the Mainz box, which he smashed low into the corner after the ball was rolled to him.
Watford head coach Walter Mazzarri has suggested there may be a possibility of the winger returning to Vicarage Road during the January transfer window due to the club's ever-increasing injury concerns.
