Valon Behrami is an injury concern for Watford’s clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford, while Nordin Amrabat and Juan Zuniga have been ruled out.
Amrabat returned to light training this week, but has been recovering with an ankle injury which he picked up in the 4-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on New Year’s Day.
Zuniga, meanwhile, is struggling with a fever, which will stop him traveling to the North West with the remainder of the Hornets squad.
Head coach Walter Mazzarri also offered updates on Miguel Britos and Behrami.
“Zuniga has a fever, so will not be available. Nordin Amrabat is not available as well and I still have some doubts on Britos and Behrami,” Mazzarri said.
“Amrabat’s ankle still hurts and he can’t run yet. It was a bad injury, so we still need to check how long it will be before he is back.”
Christian Kabasele’s recovery also continues and he will, as expected, not be involved against the Red Devils.
Mazzarri said: “Kabasele was already unavailable from last week, but he is still unavailable and we need to check for him as well.”
