Lee Mason will take charge of Watford’s Premier League clash with Swansea City at Vicarage Road on Saturday.
The 45-year-old has officiated two of the Hornets games this season, being the man in the middle for their 2-0 FA Cup win over Burton and 2-2 Premier League draw with Bournemouth.
He has shown 72 yellow cards in the 20 matches he has taken charge of in all competitions during the 2016/17 campaign, as well as two red cards.
Last season saw Taylor referee two Watford matches, most notably as the Hornets earned a 3-2 away victory against Aston Villa.
The six penalties awarded by Taylor is the joint fourth most in the league this season.
