Steven Berghuis ended his loan spell away from Vicarage Road as a league winner as he and his Feyenoord team-mates sealed the Eredivisie title.
The Stadionclub beat Heracles 3-1 on the final day of the season to win the tightest of title challenges, finishing a single point ahead of Europa League finalists Ajax.
The day belonged to former Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt, who scored all three of Feyenoord's goals in front of a sell-out crowd in Rotterdam, but Berghuis played the full 90 minutes on the right of a front three.
The winger's seven goals, from 25 league starts, were crucial for Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men during the season.
Although player sources have indicated Berghuis' first priority is making the grade at Watford next year, he himself has also suggested returning in Holland may present a realistic option.
