Mario Lemina has said he is “flirting” with Watford, although there are conflicting reports about the Juventus midfielder’s future.

The Gabon international has been linked with a move to Vicarage Road in recent weeks, with one report claiming the Hornets were ready to offer €20million for the 23-year-old.

However, Lemina has now been linked with a move to La Liga side Sevilla, in a swap deal involving former Stoke City midfielder Steven N’Zonzi.

A report in La Gazzetta dello Sport says negotiations could start as early as today regarding a €35million deal involving the Gabon midfielder, with Juventus apparently keen on N’Zonzi.

However, another report by Sportitalia claims that Juventus are unwilling to pay the €35m price tag and will instead use Lemina as a makeweight to get a deal over the line.

Despite this, the 23-year-old has not ruled out a move to Vicarage Road and has said he is “flirting” with the club.

In comments published on calcioline.com, he said: “I want to play more. I think it's right for me to play more, find a club capable of giving me more space. At 23 I want to show what I can do.

“OM (Marseille)? Even at a personal level, I do not think it's a good idea but I'm happy about the project they are carrying on.

"Sevilla or Valencia? They are clubs with a name and a story. There are new projects, let's see. I am also flirting with clubs like Arsenal or Watford."

Lemina, who has also been linked with the Gunners and Everton this summer, joined Juventus initially on loan from Marseille in August 2015, before the move was made permanent the following summer.

The 23-year-old made 30 appearances in all competitions for the Old Lady last season, the majority of which came from the substitute’s bench, as Juventus won Serie A and reached the Champions League final.
