Udinese pair Molla Wague and goalkeeper Orestis Karnezis are both in discussions over deadline day moves to Watford, the Watford Observer understands.
The duo will both hold talks with the Hornets hierarchy today amid the possibility of moving from the fellow Pozzo-owned club, and it is expected both would become part of Marco Silva's first-team squad should their transfers be completed.
Wague is a Malian international centre-back who spent time on loan at Leicester City last season, but played only one game for the Foxes, in last season's FA Cup, during which he dislocated his shoulder.
He has previously been a fringe player in Udinese's starting line-up, having never made more than 23 starts in a season in Serie A, after joining from Ligue 2 Caen in 2014.
Karnezis has been on Watford's radar for some time, and is the current Greek number-one goalkeeper.
He was a first-team regular for Udinese up until the start of this season, and has not been included in either of their opening two league squads.
