Antonio Conte has admitted Cesc Fabregas may be the only fit Chelsea central midfielder available to face Watford tomorrow.

The Blues boss was already going to be without N’Golo Kante and Danny Drinkwater, as well as Victor Moses, but his selection problems have been exacerbated after David Luiz and Tiemoue Bakayoko sustained injuries in the 3-3 Champions League draw with Roma.

Both players were already rated as doubts to face the Hornets and speaking at his pre-match press conference this lunchtime, Conte conceded Fabregas could be the only fit central midfielder available to face Marco Silva's men, who go into the game with two points more on the board than the Premier League champions .

The Chelsea boss, who is seeking to avoid a fourth successive game without a win in all competitions, also said he was unable to provide an update on his possible line-up because of injury doubts over several players.

The Blues have not lost three successive Premier League games since autumn 2015, but following the defeats to Manchester City and Crystal Palace Conte said: "At the moment, after two defeats and a draw, I'm happy for the commitment, efforts of my players.

"If you ask me about the last results I'm not happy because after two defeats and one draw no coach can be happy.

"If I feel the pressure? I think every coach, every manager has to feel the pressure.

"When I go to my house I'm happy because I know in every moment I put all myself in my job for this club, for the fans, for my players.

"(But) you know very well anything can happen in football."
