Watford will keep using zonal marking to defend corners, despite shipping another goal from a flag kick against Arsenal last weekend.
The system has come under fire from some pundits, with Liverpool and other clubs also preferring the system to man-to-man; generally, they have worked only with limited effect.
Watford have conceded three goals from corners in eight games, against West Brom, Arsenal and Manchester City, but head coach Marco Silva still believes in his system and has no intention of changing it.
He said: "Sometimes we can play with one or two players man-to-man, but our idea is clear. It’s zonal.
"We worked really hard, like other clubs do, but in the Premier League and football today you can decide a match in one moment.
"We’ve scored and in some moments our opposition has too. We need to improve, or not to improve but to work really hard to be strong in that moment."
