Bayern Munich and Juventus are the latest sides to enter the race to sign Watford’s Richarlison this summer, according to reports.

The European giants join the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur in being linked with the winger.

A £40 million price tag has been placed on the Brazilian, who joined Watford for £11.5m last summer, despite a poor run of recent form.

The 20-year-old scored five goals in his first 12 outings for the Hornets but has since failed to register in his last 25.

That run of poor form has resulted in Javi Gracia dropping the former Fluminense man to the bench in recent weeks in favour of Will Hughes.

Richarlison has, nonetheless, remained a much sort after asset and it is believed Jose Mourinho views him as an ideal replacement for Anthony Martial.

The Frenchman’s future at Old Trafford is in doubt after a lack of game time has seen him grow frustrated at the Red Devils.

Mourinho has been reluctant the give the 22-year-old a regular run of games and has tended to rotate him with Marcus Rashford.

Both Bayern and Juventus are also potential destinations for Martial, and a move to either could facilitate Richarlison’s departure from Vicarage Road.
