Daryl Janmaat may have missed out on the World Cup with Holland, but the Watford full-back will still be in action with his country in the coming weeks.
The 28-year-old has been included in the Netherlands squad for friendlies against Slovakia and Italy.
Both games will be played away from home, with Holland taking on Slovakia on Thursday, May 31 and a game against Italy being played on Monday, June 4.
Holland are in somewhat of a transitional period, having failed to reach the World Cup and in doing so not qualified for each of the last two major international tournaments.
Ronald Koeman, who was sacked by Everton in October, took over as manager from Dick Advocat after the former Sunderland boss resigned in the wake of failing to guide the Dutch to Russia.
