Hayes and Yeading United will face a serious test of their promotion credentials when they visit St Albans City this afternoon.
The Saints have put together a run of seven consecutive wins in the Blue Square South which has seen them move to within two points of United.
The Reds go into the contest in good form after scoring 13 goals in the last week. They won 5-1 at Newport County in the league last weekend before winning 8-2 at Hillingdon Borough on Tuesday in the Middlesex Senior Cup.
