George Kruis insists Saracens have much more to give as they prepare for a crunch Premiership clash with Leicester Tigers on Christmas Eve.
Sarries fell to a seventh straight defeat in all competitions against Clermont in the Champions Cup last weekend, Mark McCall’s side losing 24-21 despite a spirited display and being in control for large periods.
England lock Kruis believes his side took a lot from the game, with the bonus-point heralding performance potentially a key turning point as the Londoners look to arrest their slide.

But they face a tough task in the league on Sunday as they travel to Leicester, notoriously fearsome at Welford Road.
“The performance [against Clermont] was a turning point but only if we keep our heads in it and back up what we’ve talked about,” said 27-year-old Kruis.

“For us it’s a positive that we’ve come out and shown each other just what it means to us.
“The other positive is as we’ve said in the dressing room afterwards that we’ve got so much more to give.
“We’ve talked a lot and that’s allowed us to progress and move forward, part of being a successful team is that you have ups and downs but we want to make every game a special one."
