ENFIELD TOWN'S recent good run of form was ended in spectacular style as they lost 3-0 at home to Waltham Forest in Ryman Division 1 North.
The home side went into the game on the back of a five-match unbeaten run, but it was the Stags, needing the points to ease their fight against relegation, who ran out comfortable winners.
Enfield had the better of the first half but went into the break a goal down courtesy of Gazmend Dauti.
And the second half went from bad to worse as Glenn Harvey was sent off for denying a goalscoring opportunity and Andy Jones joined him for an early bath after receiving his second booking.
Philip Barrow made it 2-0 with Richard Owusu's emphatic penalty completing the rout.
Cockfosters crashed to a 4-0 defeat at Leverstock Green in the Molten Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division.
After a goalless first half Green took control of the game to run out comfortable winners thanks to goals from J Armstrong, A Page, D Sears and M Wardle.
The Chalk Lane outfit returns to action on Wednesday evening against Colney Heath in the Potters Bar Charity Cup.
There was no joy either for Brimsdown Rovers, who lost 1-0 to a L Nicholl goal at Langford.
