ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure Bridge Way and Short Way Twickenham

(Reference 20/109)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a gas main replacement works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Bridge Way and Short Way, Twickenham.



2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in



(a) Short Way;



(b) Bridge Way, between its junction with Short Way and a point outside the western boundary of No. 5 Bridge Way.



3. The order will come into effect on 27 July 2020. The restrictions will be in force at all times from .27 July 2020 until 2 October 202 Oand whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.



4. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Bridge Way, Cypress Avenue and Redway Drive.



5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.



6. Nothing in the Order applies to:



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;



(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or



(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.



7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure Madrid Road, Barnes

(Reference 20/113)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate electrical works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Madrid Road, Barnes.



2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Madrid Road:-



(a) Between Nos 96 and 100 for Phase 1 of the works; and



(b) Between Nos 18 and 28 Madrid Road for phase 2 of the works.



3. The order will come into effect on 27 July 2020. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 27 July 2020 until 27 August 2020 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.



4. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closures will be available via



Washington Road, Castlenau and Newport Road;

Suffolk Road, Ferry Road, Washington Road and Vice Versa;

Newport Road, Castlenau, Baronsmead Road, Ferry Road and Vice Versa

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.



6. Nothing in the Order applies to:



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;



(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or



(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.



7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate electrical works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Vicarage Road, East Sheen.



2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in



(a) Vicarage Road between its junctions with Sheen Lane and the eastern boundary of the Corner House, Vicarage Road.;



(b) Richmond Park Road at its junction with Vicarage Road.



3. The order will come into effect on 15 July 2020. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 15 July 2020 until 20 July 2020 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.



4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Sheen Lane, upper Richmond Road West, Palewell Park and Vicarage Road



5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.



6. Nothing in the Order applies to:



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;



(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or



(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.



7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Waiting Restrictions Sydney Road, Richmond

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate property maintenance works they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which is to introduce a temporary waiting restriction in Sydney Road, Richmond



2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand outside No. 36 Sydney Road, Richmond (2 spaces).



3. The Order will come into effect on 24 July 2020. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 24 July 2020 until 24 August 2020. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.



4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;



(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or



(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.



5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they have made a Temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which is to introduce a temporary waiting restriction in Broadway Avenue and Bridge Road, Twickenham.



2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Broadway Avenue and Bridge Road, Twickenham. The works will be carried on a rolling basis.



3. The Order will come into effect on 20 July 2020. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 20 July 2020 until 16 August 2020. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.



4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;



(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or



(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.



5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure London Road, Twickenham

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a gas connection, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in London Road, Twickenham.



2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in London Road in a south-bound direction from a point opposite the junction of Burnside Close and the junction of the London Road roundabout.



3. The order will come into effect on 18 July 2020. The restrictions will be in force from 08.00 on 18 2020 until 18.00 on 19 July 2020 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.



4. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via London Road and Twickenham Road and via Mogden Lane, Whitton Dene and Rugby Road.



5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.



6. Nothing in the Order applies to:



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;



(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or



(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.



7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they have made a Temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which is to introduce a temporary waiting restriction in Montpelier Row, Twickenham



2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Montpelier Row, Twickenham. The works will be carried on a rolling basis.



3. The Order will come into effect on 20 July 2020. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 20 July 2020 until 13 September 2020. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.



4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;



(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or



(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.



5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure Level crossing at Strawberry Hill Station Tower Road/Wellesley Road, Twickenham

(Reference 20/110)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate level crossing works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in the level crossing at Strawberry Hill station in Tower Road and Wellesley Road, Twickenham.



2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to proceed over the level crossing where relevant signs and/or cones are placed.



3. Whilst the level crossing is closed, an alternative route for westbound traffic will be Cross Deep (A310), Heath Road (A305), The Green (A311), Hampton Road (A311) and Wellesley Road. An alternative route for traffic in the opposite direction traffic will be as above but in the reverse direction.



4. The order will come into effect on 27 July 2020. The restrictions will be in force at all times from .27 July 2020 until 28 July 2020 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.



5. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.



6. Nothing in the Notice will apply to:



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;



(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or



(c) emergency service vehicles.



7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
