Get ready for an evening featuring the freshest faces of folk music.

Folkstock’s Folktoberfest will include a performance from award-winning St Albans harmony folk trio Said the Maiden, who recently released their début album A Curious Tale after spending the summer supporting Dave Swarbrick on tour.

Kelly Oliver from Stevenage, who has been featured on BBC Radio 2 by Whispering Bob Harris, will be performing and launching her debut album This Land at the event. She won an Emerging Excellence Award from Help Musicians UK to complete the recording.

Luke Jackson, who has been nominated for two BBC 2 Folk Awards, will join Kelly Oliver on stage for a very special duet of her song Diamond Girl.

There will also be sets from Maz O’Connor and Jess Morgan.

The event will be in aid of Folkstock Arts.
