A drive-thru cinema will be reopening next month as lockdown restrictions start to ease.

Nightflex, which has a branch in Milton Keynes, will reopen its doors on April 12 โ€“ the date that the country enters stage two of easing restrictions.

The first moving that will be shown on the day will be the comedy-musical, Grease, with the viewing starting at 8.30pm.

It will be the only movie being screened on April 12, but, on April 13, films such as Tom & Jerry and Bridget Jonesโ€™ Diary will also be shown.

As the month goes on, blockbusters such as Wonder Woman (1984), A Star is Born, Mamma Mia!, The Greatest Showman, Joker, Footloose, Bohemian Rhapsody, Rocketman, and Pulp Fiction will also be shown.

Moviegoers who attend the drive-thru cinema can choose to remain in their car for the duration of the movie if they wish.
