HERRINGTON Betty We are sad to announce that Betty Herrington died on the 21st July 2022. Betty was a renowned dressmaker and alterationist in Chalfont St Peter having lived in the village for most of her life. Mad keen QPR supporter, knitter, caravaner and what seems to be a lifelong member of the Trefoil Guild. Betty was married to Brian for 68 years, although sweethearts for many years before that. Sadly Brian died in May 2020. She leaves behind Ian, her son, and Louise, her daughter. Funeral to be held at the Milton Chapel, Chilterns Crematorium, Amersham on the 25th August at 2.30pm followed by refreshments in Chalfont St Peter. All who knew her are welcome to attend the attend.
