QUEENSMEAD School pupil Katie Savva scooped first place in the Rotary Club Young Chef of the Year contest in Hillingdon.
Her ramen with handmade noodles impressed the judges in this annual event.
Renee John Ventour, of Douay Martyrs School was first in the junior category with her oven-baked salmon. Entrants were tasked with cooking a healthy two-course meal on a budget of £10. They were judged on their creativity, health and safety awareness, ability to cook and taste.
Tom Dunn, Health Promotion Officer, said: "The standard once again was very high and we were impressed with the effort made by everyone.
"We are excited to put Katie through to the regional finals and hope to celebrate her continued success."
