FULLY funded scholarships are on offer for two academically outstanding students to attend an independent Hillingdon school for two years.

Anyone interested will have to act fast as the deadline for applications is next Friday, January 29.

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme scholarships are at ACS Hillingdon, an international school on Vine Lane in Uxbridge, for two year 11 pupils to take up in August 2016.

Head of School Linda LaPine said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and motivated young person to benefit from a world-class education, gaining the best preparation to succeed at university and beyond whilst making lifelong friends from around the world.

“I strongly urge any young person looking for a challenging future and predicted to achieve excellent grades next summer to apply now for one of our scholarships.”

Applications are accepted from pupils currently studying at a Hillingdon area state school who are predicted to achieve a minimum of five grade As at GCSE, with an annual household income of no more than £55,000.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a non-committal visit to ACS Hillingdon to meet teachers and current pupils and get the feel of the school before any formal offers or decisions are made.
