A YOUNG man has died after being hit by a car on Uxbridge Road in Hayes last week.
Detectives have named the victim as Dean Langford, of Chessington in the Kingston borough.
The 24-year-old pedestrian suffered fatal head injuries after the collision near the Apex Corner roundabout, at the junction with Longford Close, in the early hours of Monday February 22.
London Ambulance Service was on the scene at 3.40am and took Mr Langford to a west London hospital where he sadly later died.
Roads and Transport Policing Command officers are investigating.
