STOCKLEY Park is launching a Winter Extravaganza for employees and the public, set within the 150-acre landscaped site.

The Mayor of Hillingdon, Cllr Carol Melvin, will start the festivities with the Christmas lights switch-on at 6pm on December 6.

The hub of the festival will be at The Squareabout, with a floodlit synthetic ice rink, complete with snow machine creating a snowy scene.

The rink is large enough to hold 25 skaters at a time, and there is a disabled skater chair available, as well as penguin ice aids for small children. The rink will be open from noon-8pm, December 6-12.

Topping the bill at this year’s Winter Extravaganza, Santa and his Reindeer will visit the park on December 14. Children can meet Santa, for free, from noon to 8pm, and his reindeer will be there between 11.30am and 2pm.

To book your session on the ice Rink email: quoting ‘Ice Rink’ and then simply pay on the day. A one-hour session on the rink costs £5 for two people.
