ENGINEER Roni Savage celebrated a milestone when her business, Jomas Associates at Stockley Park, reached a £2m turnover.

Roni, who lives in Hillingdon, started the engineering and environmental consultancy from her home at the age of 29 after making the decision to go it alone.

After university, she had a successful career working for engineering consultancies and was involved in projects like the widening of the A406 and M25.

Roni said: “When I set up Jomas, my goal was to turn over £50,000 and deliver great customer service and high-quality work to a small selection of clients working on my own.

Roni said: “I do feel immensely proud of what we have achieved. I’m excited about the future and I have got a strong belief my business will continue to grow.”
