A passenger sustained injuries to their arm after they got trapped in a door while a train was moving.
The incident happened as the person was getting onto a train at Bushey station on March 26 at 9.24pm.
The train left the station despite the fact a person had got themselves trapped in the closing doors.
It moved around 27 metres, before it was forced to come to a stop.
Fortunately the passenger remained standing during the ordeal and the injuries to their arm were minor.
An investigation into the incident was launched by the Rail Accident Investigation Branch.
Following a 'preliminary examination' into the case, the branch has decided to publish a 'safety digest', rather than conducting a full investigation, and this digest will be made available in the coming weeks.
