MORE than 400 runners are expected as the Mayor of Hillingdon starts the Stockley Park 10K on Sunday.
The event has grown each year in popularity, and this year’s 10th staging has a race village bursting at the seams with activities for runners and supporters alike.
There will be a children’s bouncy castle, ball pond, Batak challenge and Last Man Standing game.
Pretty Vintage Things will be dressing the race village with haybales and will have sweets and lemonade on offer.

Food stalls, refreshments and entertainments will keep the crowds happy, while live music by the Steel Pan Trust will keep the party atmosphere alive. The race starts at 10.30am.
Stockley Park has teamed up with charity partner YMCA to support its Job Club. Funds raised from the race will go towards supporting young people seeking employment, training, help with CVs, job applications, travel and clothing for interviews.
