RESIDENTS are being asked to nominate council workers for awards under a new scheme.
Hillingdon Council's Employee Recognition Awards are intended to recognise members of staff who have worked to ensure residents are treated with care, when they visit or contact the authority.
Members of the public are being invited to select staff for nomination, who they feel have worked exceptionally hard to this end.
Individuals or a teams of staff from any council department can be nominated, including workers at leisure centres, libraries, social services, housing and environmental health.
Anyone who lives or visits Hillingdon can nominate by visiting www.hillingdon.gov.uk/hillingdonstar, or by calling 01895 277 940.
