CASH from a free bingo event will go to a local children's ward.
On Tuesday, August 28, Mecca Bingo will stage free half hour sessions in the Pavilions Shopping Centre, in Chequers Square, Uxbridge, between 11am and 3pm.
Although the sessions are free, players are asked to make donations, with the proceeds going to the Peter Pan ward at Hillingdon Hospital, as well as the shopping centre's own charity, the Make a Wish Foundation.
Chris Mann, ward sister at the hospital, said: "We are delighted Mecca has chosen us as their charity. All donations are gratefully received and make a lot of difference to the children we care for."
