STUDENTS at ACS International School’s three campuses, Hillingdon, Cobham and Egham, have accepted places to study at leading universities worldwide, including Oxford and Cambridge.

The news coincides with the opening of applications for means-tested bursary applications, available to families wishing to apply for places at the three schools for the academic year 2919/20.

The awards are available as part of the schools’ transition to full charitable status.

Re-em Tal, of ACS Hillingdon, will be heading to Cambridge to read land economy, while Miriam Mumbua, another Hillingdon graduate who received a bursary in 2016, received an unconditional offer to study medicine at the University of York.

She said: “Ultimately I’d like to specialise in oncology. I learned how to multi-task, set realistic goals and manage my time, which are going to be really helpful skills.”

ACS International Schools offers bursaries to students aged 11+, 13+ and 16+ to those who will benefit most from an ACS education.  Awards range from 20 per cent to 100 per cent of the schools’ fees.
