A STAFF member at Dogs Trust West London rehoming centre in Harefield braved the shave this week to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Charlotte Burgess has worked for Dogs Trust for almost three years and lost her father to cancer in 2000.
She had initially set a target of £200 but support rocketed to £440 online and, with cash donations, it pushes up her total to £530.

She said: “I feel overwhelmed with how much support I’ve received for doing this and at how generous people have been. I never imagined the total would be so high!”
Rehoming centre Manager Richard Moore added: “We’re so proud of Charlotte. We had her ‘brave the shave’ here at the centre as we wanted to show our support."
