Thousands of jobs will be showcased at an employment fair today (Thursday).
People looking for work are invited to attend Watford's biggest job fair at the Langley Conference Suite in High Street, Watford, from 10am until 3pm.
More than 70 companies will attend, speaking to prospective members of staff and giving out career advice.
It has been organised by Watford MP Richard Harrington and has been running for the last eight years.
The fair is a day-long event linking local companies with vacancies to those looking for a job.
Camelot, intu, Warner Bros, John Lewis, DHL, Hilton, Toad Hall Nursery, Ricochet Media and YO! Sushi! will be some of the companies showcasing their jobs at the free event.
There will be a variety of jobs and apprenticeships on offer, with companies recruiting for roles in finance, marketing, law, retail, care, IT and more. There will also be part time, full time and casual work available.
Mr Harrington said: “I’m really looking forward to the Jobs Fair, where we’ll be advertising for over 1000 vacancies in the area, as well as offering one-to-one support and interactive trials."
For the first time ever, the Google’s Digital Garage is visiting the Watford Jobs Fair, offering free face-to-face training on digital marketing, and how to build a good CV.
