A 10-year-old schoolgirl was approached by two men in a car.
Police were called yesterday with reports a child had been approached near Maple Cross JMI School in Denham Way, at 5.45pm.
The child was walking along the pavement near the school when a green car pulled up beside her with two men inside.
They did not speak to her or make any attempt to get out of the car.
She ran into the school to inform an adult who then called the police.
Police said there is nothing to suggest that this was an attempted abduction, but local officers have been made aware.
