Three men have been arrested after two men suffered stab wounds to their hands.
Officers were called to Fuller Road, just off St Albans Road, in Watford at around 3pm on Monday to reports of a fight.
A witness said she was in the area when she came across six police cars parked up. She said there was “blood everywhere” outside a barbers shop.
She added a man had come running from Fuller Road “begging for help” saying he’d been “stabbed”.
He was given a blanket and an ambulance was called.
A police spokeswoman confirmed: "Police were called at 2.59pm on Monday, October 1, to reports of an altercation in Fuller Road, Watford. Two men had sustained alleged stab wounds to their hands."
Police are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward. Call 101, quoting crime reference number 41/42036/18.
• A 30 year old man from Watford has been arrested on suspicion of assault (grievous bodily harm GBH). He has been released under investigation.
• A 29 year old man from Watford has been arrested on suspicion of assault (GBH) and possession of drugs with intent to supply. He has been released under investigation.
• A 23 year old man from Rickmansworth has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary. He has been released under investigation.
